Virgin Active Playmakers

The UK’s number one health club, Virgin Active, and the University of Bedfordshire have teamed up to launch a new program for 40 primary schools in the UK to provide innovative Physical Education. This is part of the health club Virgin Active’s Active Inspiration campaign. The campaign is seeking to tackle the UK’s inactivity crisis by helping young people build positive attitudes towards physical activity. Teachers are essential for embedding positive attitudes towards activeness at a young age.

We are working with staff from the University of Bedfordshire and leading fitness experts from Virgin Active to combine pedagogical teaching models and physical literacy with the latest innovative thinking in activeness.

P.E. teaching at Denbigh Primary School is at the forefront of innovative practice enabling your child to become physically literate and have the knowledge and understanding of a how to lead a healthy lifestyle.
